I challenge mindsets, thoughts, habits and patterns which may not be serving you, delve into what might be holding you back, and then help you put the plans and actions in place to achieve your goals when you are ready.
I have coached people across many sectors (including tech, pharma, finance & marketing) covering a range of work related and personal topics. There is a piece of me that resonates with many of the challenges that people bring up, but only you are the expert in your own life, and I want to help you figure out your own way forward along the path to living the life you’re truly happy and fulfilled with.
About Me
Hi! My name is Cathy
I’m a certified Executive, Personal, Business and Career Coach. I have also recently completed a Mental Health and Wellbeing Coaching certification. I am passionate about understanding human behaviour and making a positive difference to people’s lives.
As a mother of 4 (ranging from teenagers to a preschooler), who has juggled a demanding and successful career with a leading multinational for over 2 decades, alongside my Mom job for about 14 of those years, I get many of the challenges people face - the juggle, the imposter syndrome, high-pressure projects, the overwhelm of feeling out of my depth at times, the mom guilt and more.. I wish I had understood the positive impact a coach could have had to help me navigate my way through these when they hit. I feel like some things could have been a lot easier if I’d had a coach asking me relevant questions to tease out the real answers and action plans. When I eventually discovered coaching and realised the significant positive impact it can have, I signed up to train as a coach myself!
I feel passionate about helping people; I get a stronger sense of satisfaction from helping someone, than I did solving complex technical problems. I volunteer locally as a first responder and was a founding member of this group some years back. I also enjoy running and going to the gym and have completed several marathons, equally challenging and rewarding experiences!
I feel like we are at our best for everyone else (at home and in work) when we are at our own mental and physical best. Simple – right? Absolutely not! We face challenges all the time; we have demanding and sometimes stressful jobs that can get us down, we have families to take care of and bills to pay, we get stuck into bad habits, we may have self-limiting beliefs that hold us back and the list goes on. But I believe we all have untapped potential and are often not aware of ‘why’ we don’t do what we think we should be doing. We all deserve to be happy and fulfilled with the life we build for ourselves.

1. What is coaching?
Coaching is a professional relationship designed to assist a client to identify and work towards achieving their personal or business goals or aspirations. It involves partnering with a client in a thought-provoking process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential. [ILI & ICF definitions]
2. Is there a minimum amount of sessions I must sign up for?
No. I believe that sometimes people need multiple sessions and sometimes they get what they need for now in one session, so I don’t enforce a minimum number of sessions.
3. Do you only work with specific people?
No. I don’t restrict my coaching to just corporate employees/just women/moms etc.. I believe that many people have goals/challenges/struggles that can benefit from coaching. However, if you have deep issues from your past that you need to discuss, I would recommend a therapist instead.
4. What is the difference between coaching and psychotherapy/counselling?
Coaching is present and future focused, whereas counselling focuses on helping people with problems which have their origin in the past and cause problems living in the present.
5. Is there anything I need to do before our session?
We will have a connection call to ensure you understand what coaching is and is not, discuss a high level of your needs and our logistics and I will send you a short contract to read and sign beforehand. Typically you will know what you want to bring to a session, but if you are not sure, we will get clarity on this at the start of the session.
6. Will you give me specific advice on how to achieve my goals?
We are all individual and we have different challenges, values, beliefs, thoughts, frames of reference, motivations etc. Coaching is all about putting you fully in the driving seat of your own life. You will often know (even if it’s deep down) what you need to do and what will work in your specific life. I will help you understand if something is holding you back and find the motivation to go after what you want. If relevant, I may use exercises, tools or refer to resources I’m aware of that may add value for you.
7. Will my sessions be confidential?
Absolutely. Your sessions are held in a completely confidential and non-judgemental space in line with the International Coaching Federation Code of Ethics, of which I am a member.
8. What is the cost of the sessions?
Once you get in touch, I will give you a quote based on your specific needs.
